Damekko Doubutsu

A lazy wolf named Uruno travels in search of a new home and discovers a forest populated by animals who do not conform to typical expectations of their species. He initially clashes with a grumpy, smoking rabbit named Usahara, but decides to stay after meeting Chiiko, a clumsy cheetah. Uruno develops feelings for her and resolves to remain despite his self-perceived uselessness, hoping to eventually win her affection. The forest is home to several other unusual creatures, including a sake-drinking unicorn, a nearsighted eagle, an orca that cannot swim, and a shy pegasus. Uruno must navigate life among these eccentric residents while working to improve himself.
