Shido and his companions were rescued from a difficult situation caused by DEM by Kurumi, who had previously been believed to be deceased. However, their relief is short-lived as Mio suddenly appears. Mio is driven by an intense obsession with her feelings for Shinji, creating a dangerous confrontation.
