Shinji Takamiya experiences a spatial earthquake at an unspecified time and location. During the incident, he discovers a girl who retains almost no memory of her past. He decides to name her Mio. Following this encounter, Mio moves in to live with Shinji and his younger sister, Mana. This arrangement establishes her new life under their care after the mysterious event.
