A journalist conducts an interview with a resident in a heavily polluted zone adjacent to the Mothership. While they are walking through the area to gather information, the ground suddenly gives way, causing debris to fall and trap both individuals under the rubble. The situation leaves them stuck in the hazardous environment as they attempt to deal with the sudden collapse surrounding them.
