Following the end of its initial TV run, the series is reborn with a new narrative and characters, though some return. This iteration centers on Kamoyama, a human on track for corporate success, who is demoted after an error and assigned to manage Department Z, a sales team composed of selfish and ineffective workers. His goal is to restore his professional standing by transforming the employees into productive contributors with strong sales performance. However, the team's extreme laziness presents a major challenge.
