In the year 2100, a global computer network connects the world, allowing children to become Web Divers who transfer their consciousness into data to play in the cyber park known as Magical Gate. A virus emerges, damaging Magical Gate from within. Programs called Web Knights were designed to protect the children, but the virus has corrupted them, turning them hostile. Gladion is the only Web Knight unaffected by the virus. He turns to Kaito Yuki, a fourth-grade Web Diver, for assistance.
