Dante, a mercenary with half-demon and half-human heritage, specializes in hunting demons. He accepts a contract to serve as the personal bodyguard for Patty, a young orphan who stands to inherit a substantial fortune. Throughout his assignment, Dante must defend Patty against various demonic entities that are actively attempting to assassinate her. Despite fulfilling his protective duties, he experiences a growing sense of unease regarding the nature of this employment. He suspects that there are underlying issues or hidden agendas within the job that differ from the apparent objective of simple protection.
