Ep. 13: Makoto recalls Ange's rose love as the group enters a contest for a Royal Yellow rose.
Makoto remembers Ange's love of roses while Mana and the others enter a Rose Lady contest offering a rare Royal Yellow rose as the grand prize. They encounter a mysterious girl with a peculiar interest in them. During the event, Alice's childhood friend and rival, Reina Itsutsuboshi, tries to provoke Alice into anger and disqualification, but Alice remains calm. The final round is a tennis match where Reina attempts to blind Alice and muddy her friends, yet Alice stays composed and wins. Jealous of Alice's friends, Reina is targeted by Marmo, who transforms into a Rose Beast Jikochu and ensnares the PreCures. Alice's determination to protect her friends frees them, allowing them to defeat Marmo. When Ai touches the won Royal Yellow rose, it produces a mysterious crystal. Back at the Jikochu hideout, the mysterious girl is revealed to be King Jikochu's daughter, Regina.
