Ep. 38: Ai Becomes a Jikochu as Bel’s Plan Unfolds

Bel and his allies use finger puppets to tempt Ai into becoming a Jikochu, hoping to gain power. This scheme causes Ai to act rebelliously for several days as the Jikochu Trio spoils her. After Sharuru notices Ai returning home early, Mana receives a challenge from Bel to meet at an abandoned factory. There, they find Ai fully tempted, which strengthens the Trio. When Mana attempts to restore Ai’s senses, both are trapped under a collapsed chimney caused by Ai’s distress. Mana reminds Ai of their shared memories, allowing Ai to cleanse the darkness within her heart. This purification boosts Aguri’s power, enabling her to defeat Ira and Marmo. Bel collects their Blood Rings to empower himself, but the Cures overpower him and destroy the rings. The girls consider themselves ready to face King Jikochu, but Regina returns to assume command of the Jikochu Trio.
