Mana is pressured by Rikka to participate in a Student Council President Speech Contest scheduled for Christmas Eve. Rikka covers Mana’s duties, unaware that Regina has orchestrated the event as a trap. Regina captures Mana in a cage, assuming the Cures will fall without their leader. Left alone, Rikka finds solace in Mana’s notes but feels lonely. Regina and the Trio attack with a Christmas Tree Jikochu, but the Cures prove resilient because their hearts remain connected. Rikka convinces Regina that she still loves Mana. Joe rescues Mana, who returns to help the team defeat the Jikochu, restoring their unity.
