A week later, as destroyed T-Dolls are uploaded into new bodies, Gentiane recalls that Elite T-Dolls like the AR Team possess unique emotions and cannot have their Neural Clouds backed up, meaning their destruction is permanent. Later, during a mission in Griffin territory, the AR Team captures armed humans in armored suits. These are revealed to be Kryuger and his mercenaries scavenging Sangvis technology remnants.
