Dongguo Xiaojie

A young girl has lived with her mother since childhood. When her mother falls seriously ill at the girl's sixteenth birthday, she embarks on a perilous journey to save her. She is joined by her sworn older brother and a mysterious young man known as Life's Hardship. As they travel, they face repeated attacks from strangers they encounter. A hidden conspiracy appears to be connected to their journey.
