Nobita uses this device to observe the dreams of Gian, Suneo, and Shizuka. While viewing these dream sequences, he actively criticizes the plot of each one. This activity serves as a way for Nobita to pass the time and potentially alleviate his sleeplessness by engaging with the surreal content of his friends' subconscious minds.
