The device allows the wearer to become completely unnoticed, similar to a pebble lying by the roadside. This state of invisibility applies to how others perceive the user, even though the wearer remains physically visible to them. The gadget offers a solution for Nobita's wish to blend into his surroundings without actually disappearing from sight.
