Doraemon becomes infatuated with a toy cat. After he saves the toy from a dog, the owner allows him to keep it. He employs technology from the 22nd century to make the toy as realistic as a living creature. However, he soon discovers that the toy is actually a male cat, which complicates his romantic feelings.
