Doraemon discards several of his useless inventions, specifically the Star of Hope. Gian and Suneo find the discarded item, unaware that the wishes it grants are always wrong. This story was remade in 1992 under the title "Ask the Stars." The narrative focuses on the consequences of the misinterpreted wishes resulting from the characters' interaction with the discarded technology.
