Suneo flatters everyone around him, which greatly annoys Nobita. To address this behavior, Doraemon provides Nobita with a square of sellotape. When this tape is applied to Suneo's back, it reveals his true, unpleasant personality to everyone present. This gadget allows the group to see Suneo's actual character beneath his flattering exterior, directly countering his annoying habit of buttering up others.
