Goku, wielding Mastered Ultra Instinct, corners Jiren, who breaks his limits to counterattack. After enduring near-defeats, Goku regains control, citing the bond with his friends as his power source. Enraged by this philosophy, Jiren attacks the spectators, but Goku repels him and secures victory. Exhausted by the technique, Goku collapses before Jiren can finish him. Jiren hesitates to remove Goku from the stage, but Belmod reminds him of his Super Dragon Ball wish. Jiren then blasts Goku off the arena, claiming Goku will live in his memory. Freeza saves Goku, and Android 17 survives his self-destruction. As Freeza and Android 17 prepare to fight Jiren, Goku suffers from the physical strain of his transformation.
