Ep. 89: A Mysterious Woman Joins Tien's Dojo While Goku Recruits Teammates for the Tournament

Goku learns Master Roshi is teaching at Tien Shinhan’s new dojo and travels there to recruit Tien as the tenth team member. Upon arrival, he finds Yurin, a woman who enrolled at Roshi’s request, though Tien rejects her motives. When Tien refuses to join despite the ten million Zeni prize, Yurin uses talismans to force his students to destroy the town. She reveals herself as a Crane School student seeking revenge for being ignored. After Roshi is brainwashed by an accidental glimpse of her underwear and defeats Tien, Goku intervenes. He defeats Roshi with a Kamehameha to cure the brainwashing while Chiaotzu disables Yurin. Tien allows Yurin to stay as a student after she apologizes to the villagers. Motivated by the ten million Zeni prize to repair the village, Tien joins the tournament, followed by Roshi. Meanwhile, in the Sixth Universe, Cabba convinces Caulifla to join his team by promising to teach her Super Saiyan transformation.
