Gohan fears that Angela, a classmate, witnessed him transform from his Saiyaman costume and jeopardize his secret identity. To prevent her from exposing him, he agrees to go on a date with her. During the outing, a fire breaks out in a downtown building, prompting Gohan to abandon Angela to rescue those inside. After the incident, he searches for Angela but accidentally encounters Videl instead. Angela spots the pair together and mistakenly believes Gohan is cheating on her with Videl. Consequently, the relationship ends abruptly, concluding Gohan's first romantic experience without any further development or resolution.
