Ep. 72: Krillin and Gohan seek Dragon Balls while Ginyu in Goku's body attempts deception
Aired on December 19, 1990
Krillin and Gohan reach Frieza's spaceship to find the Dragon Balls, unaware that Vegeta is nearby. While they struggle to determine the password, Jeice and Captain Ginyu, who is inhabiting Goku's body, arrive at the location. The disguised Ginyu attempts to deceive Krillin into believing he is the real Goku. Gohan, however, correctly identifies that the person before them is not Goku. Shortly after, the actual Goku arrives in Captain Ginyu's destroyed body and explains the situation to his friends. With the truth revealed, Krillin and Gohan must now confront and defeat Captain Ginyu to resolve the immediate threat.
