  Dr. Lychee, a Tuffle survivor, seeks revenge on Saiyans by deploying Destron Gas emitters on Earth. Mr. Popo and Bulma discover the planet will be destroyed in hours. Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Future Trunks, and Piccolo rush to disable the devices. They destroy most emitters, but one remains protected by an energy barrier. Freeza, Cooler, Turles, and Lord Slug appear to fight the heroes. King Kai reveals these are Ghost Warriors who revive unless defeated by the method of their original death. The group must overcome these undead foes to stop the gas and save the world from total annihilation.

  Heroes confront Dr. Lychee on the Dark Planet and face the Hatchiyack machine.

  Aug 25, 1993

  The heroes locate Dr. Lychee on the Dark Planet, learning his Ghost Warriors stem from Hatchiyack, a device fueled by Tuffle hatred. Dr. Lychee is revealed to be one such warrior. After the heroes destroy him, he re-materializes until Vegeta vaporizes him permanently. Dr. Lychee’s hatred causes Hatchiyack to exceed limits, appearing in a powerful android body that rivals Broly’s strength. Hatchiyack devastates the team until the Saiyans transform into Super Saiyans. They combine their powers into a massive Energy Wave: Goku uses Super Kamehameha, Gohan uses Super Masenko, Future Trunks uses Burning Attack, Vegeta uses Final Flash, and Piccolo uses Special Beam Cannon in the 2010 version. This ends the Ghost Warrior threat. Before the planet explodes, Goku and the Dragon Team use Instant Transmission to return to Earth.
