Popp, Crocodine, and Chiu return to the frozen sea to search for Dai. Zaboera, determined to earn Vearn's approval, attacks them with his forces. However, Hym, one of Hadlar's new subordinates, intervenes to stop the assault. Hym is ordered by his master to bring them back.
