The five Disciples of Avan are reunited and initiate a magic ritual of purification. They remain vulnerable throughout the process until the ritual is complete. Myst-Vearn attempts to interrupt and stop them. In response, Lon Berk and the rest of their allies make a stand to protect the disciples. The allies engage in a defensive effort to ensure the ritual can finish without interference from Myst-Vearn.
