A decade ago, the Erebonian Empire nearly destroyed the Kingdom of Liberl, reaching the Capital City before being repelled by Cassius Bright's counterattack. Now, with the Empire again threatening from the north, Liberl rebuilds with the help of the Bracer's Guild, which uses "Craft" more effectively than the military for defense. Estelle Bright, Cassius's daughter, and her adopted brother Joshua grew up hearing these events as distant history. However, as they train to become bracers, new dangers emerge, mirroring their father's past struggles. When Cassius's airship disappears, the two inexperienced but skilled teenagers take it upon themselves to find him.
