Masamune observes the younger and more popular author Elf Yamada working on her novel, which brings the two slightly closer together. Sagiri notices this shift in their dynamic and becomes suspicious of their relationship. This suspicion persists even though Masamune explicitly states that he and Yamada-san do not get along at all. The pair engages in an argument regarding this matter. Following this conflict, Masamune shifts his focus and begins working on his ultimate light novel.
