Following a reunion with Makarov, Natsu and his companions make an effort to escape the Alvarez Empire. Their retreat is complicated by the aggressive pursuit of Ajeel, known as the Desert King. Despite their attempts to evade capture, Ajeel proves to be a formidable opponent who easily overpowers the Fairy Tail squad during the confrontation.
