Ep. 5: Gilgamesh escorts Ritsuka and Mash to a coastal observatory for water inspection.

Gilgamesh assigns Ritsuka and Mash as escorts during a trip to a coastal observatory to inspect sea water quality. During the journey, the pair share stories of their adventures in other Singularities. Although Gilgamesh claims disinterest, he acknowledges their significant journey. Upon collecting water samples, Ritsuka and Mash rest on the beach while Gilgamesh attends to other matters. Mash questions her humanity, prompting reassurance from Ritsuka. An attack by Enkidu occurs, but Gilgamesh intervenes to save them. The attacker, claiming to be an impostor, cannot bring himself to kill Gilgamesh and retreats. As the group returns to Uruk, Enkidu attempts to convince himself that he is merely a fake and should have no trouble killing Gilgamesh.
