The second season of a magical girl series follows Illya and Miyu, who must address the consequences of their past actions after sealing the Ley Cards. Rather than resting after their world-saving efforts, they deal with the resulting disruptions in the ley lines. Illya faces a new challenge when she discovers a magical clone of herself, who possesses her powers and works against her. As the clone draws strength from the same source as Illya, her own abilities begin to weaken. The situation escalates as the clone pursues its own agenda, creating complications beyond what an ordinary girl would typically encounter.
