Ep. 22: Shirō captured by Kirei, Saber rescues him, Lancer sacrifices himself against Gilgamesh.

Following a visit to Kirei's church, Shirō is seized and nearly executed by Kirei. Saber arrives promptly to intervene and heal his injuries. Kirei then commands Lancer and Gilgamesh to eliminate both Shirō and Saber. To facilitate their escape, Lancer engages Gilgamesh in combat. Although Lancer fights valiantly to buy time, he is ultimately overpowered by Gilgamesh and killed. This sacrifice allows Shirō and Saber to flee the immediate threat posed by Kirei and his allies, securing their temporary safety after the intense confrontation at the church.
