FOXING: Kitsuné-tsuki

Shinano works as a character designer, moving through days that have flattened into routine. Her creations are swallowed by a market that treats them as product, and social media leaves her feeling like she belongs nowhere, which only sharpens her isolation. Then Koyami, a fox-masked figure from her old sketches, steps into her life, and more abandoned designs follow, until she can no longer tell where invention ends and reality begins. Drifting through her own thoughts, she recognizes these figures as pieces of herself, the outline of her loneliness, and decides to go on creating with it rather than against it.
