Akito, acting in a deranged state, stabs Kureno before approaching Tohru with the intention of attacking her. Tohru manages to calm Akito down, and the two appear ready to reach a compromise. However, their progress is abruptly halted when Tohru suffers an accident that places her life in serious danger.
