GALACTIC PATROL Lensman

Kimball Kinnison departs for further studies when a Galactic Patrol vessel crashes near his home. A dying pilot hands him a unique, semi-aware device known as a Lens before passing away. After the Lens is embedded in his hand, Kim experiences significant changes in his life, including his father's death, a conflict in space, and a meeting with Chris, a nurse from the Galactic Patrol. Guided by the Lens, he enters a new phase of life filled with challenges. He ultimately puts himself in danger to protect Chris and the cosmos.
