Ep. 36: Kitaro helps Junko recover her father trapped as a diamond by Wanyudo

Junko seeks Kitaro's aid after her father vanishes while studying diamonds near Jigoku Mountain, leaving only a large gem. The stone is stolen by greedy appraisers who discover Wanyudo's face inside. Nezumi-Otoko joins Kitaro and Medama-Oyaji at the mountain, where they find a cave filled with diamond-encased humans. The thieves attempt to hoard the gems, but Wanyudo attacks, turning them into stone. Kitaro defeats the yōkai by reflecting its ray with a mirror shard, reversing the curse. The group discovers the large diamond is actually Junko's father. While the thieves face consequences, Nezumi-Otoko selfishly demands a reward for the accidental rescue.
