Gendai Kibunroku Kaii Monogatari

Six horror stories drawn from Japanese urban legends are compiled into a single film. Each segment presents a different eerie tale, such as a discarded refrigerator near a dried riverbed, a strange sculpture atop a building, a ghostly encounter on a nighttime bridge, a flea market purchase with dire consequences, recurring accidents at a railroad crossing, and a mysterious experience during a boy's summer vacation in the countryside. The stories are illustrated in the distinctive style of Toshiyuki Kimura, known internationally. The film features an ending theme performed by Leilani, an artist produced by Akira Sudoh.
