With the school festival approaching, Ohno remains determined to proceed with a cosplay photo shoot. This decision creates tension as Ogiue openly mocks the concept of cosplay. Complicating matters further, Ohno discovers Tanaka’s secret collection of costumes intended for the other Genshiken members. As the scheduled time for the photo shoot draws near, Kasukabe devises a plan to resolve the conflict and ease the rising friction. In an effort to smooth things over, Kasukabe successfully convinces Ogiue to participate in an activity she has never attempted before, altering the dynamics of the group as they prepare for the event.
