Hachiken learns that Pork Bowl is scheduled to be sent away the next day. In response, he proposes to purchase the animal once it has been processed into meat. Fuji accepts this offer. Several days later, the meat from Pork Bowl arrives, fulfilling the transaction agreed upon by Hachiken and Fuji regarding the fate of the horse.
