Ep. 14: Kamui loses odds or evens games while navigating a coup against Admiral Abo

Episode 215 features Kamui visiting Kada in custody after her capture by the Kiheitai, where he loses a game of odds or evens. A captain offers Kamui the support of the 12 captains to overthrow Admiral Abo. Kamui then orders his second to eliminate the Kiheitai, isolating Takasugi for a duel. However, Admiral Abo betrays Kamui out of fear and imprisons him just as the Kiheitai ship is targeted. Takasugi later visits Kada, losing another odds or evens game, before rescuing Kamui from execution. This act leads to the overthrow of Admiral Abo, allowing Kamui to assume the role of Admiral. The episode concludes with Takasugi visiting Kada’s cell one final time to lose at odds or evens.
