Ep. 2: Everyone Looks Pretty Grown up after Summer Break

Episode 203 features Katsura and Kyubei competing for the title of best transgendered person while Shinpachi discovers the Shinsengumi has undergone sudden changes. Sogo Okita leads the group, ordering Shinpachi, Toshiro Hijikata, and Sagaru Yamazaki to attack the Yorozuya. Hijikata knocks out Yamazaki, who was faking the transformation. The pair learns that parasite aliens caused the changes and destroy them. However, complications arise during the aftermath. Both Hijikata and Shinpachi are knocked out in the process. It is revealed that Gintoki is the only person without a parasite, highlighting the unexpected outcome of their efforts against the alien invasion.
