Ep. 45: Tetsunosuke Captured by Radical Gang Amidst Shinsengumi and Mimawarigumi Conflict

In episode 246, Tetsunosuke is tasked with delivering a letter for Hijikata but is intercepted by the radical Joi Check It Out gang. Although he hid his identity to join them, his connection to the police is revealed, leading to his capture as a hostage intended to pressure the Shinsengumi and Mimawarigumi. The Mimawarigumi displays indifference toward the hostage's safety and schemes to frame the Shinsengumi for the incident. Upon discovering Isaburo's machinations, Hijikata and his comrades become furious. This betrayal and the resulting tension escalate into an all-out battle between the Shinsengumi and the Mimawarigumi.
