Glass no Kamen (2005)

At thirteen, Maya Kitajima works in a busy restaurant with her difficult mother until her acting ability is noticed by the renowned performer Chigusa Tsukikage, offering her a new path full of promise and danger. Ayumi Himekawa, despite her assured success, seeks validation based on her own abilities rather than her family's influence. Both girls aim for the role of The Crimson Goddess, a part originally created by Chigusa. To reach this goal, they must overcome various acting challenges, testing their skill and stamina. The competition between them is intense, as only one can succeed while the other must lose.
