Haruka Haruno, who dreams of being a princess, receives a charm from a boy named Kanata. Years later, she attends Noble Academy and meets roommate Yui Nanase. While hiding in the woods, Haruka encounters Puff and Aroma, fairies from the Hope Kingdom. Close, an emissary from Dys Dark, traps Yui’s dream of becoming an author in a Gate of Desperation, creating a Zetsuborg. Determined to protect her friend, Haruka uses her charm as a Dress Up Key with Princess Perfume to transform into Cure Flora. She defeats the monster and rescues Yui. Puff and Aroma reveal Kanata sent them to find the Princess Pretty Cure, and he is the Prince of the Hope Kingdom.
