Ep. 12: Miku Seeks Independence While Itsuki Reveals Her True Identity to Futaro

Miku tells Ichika she wants to pursue Futaro independently and suggests they all hold his hand at the campfire. The person posing as Ichika, actually Itsuki in disguise, is shocked. Futaro, suffering from a fever, collapses and is confined to rest by counselors after Itsuki reveals herself on a ropeway. He rejects Nino’s dance invitation, leaving her to attend the campfire alone. Miku confesses her feelings to Ichika, who embraces her. Yotsuba and Itsuki find Futaro’s camping guide filled with stories for Raiha, realizing he enjoyed the trip. Itsuki sneaks into the ward to watch over him, only to find all the girls hiding there in worry as the event ends. Years later, at Futaro’s wedding, he forgets his ring and calls Raiha, who retrieves it and notices he still wears the amulet she gave him five years ago. It is revealed that all five girls held his hand in bed when the campfire ended, and he is marrying one of them, though her identity remains unknown. In a mid-credits scene, the girls reunite with a hospitalized Futaro, with Nino returning his amulet as they prepare to study for finals.
