Midterm exams approach as Futaro struggles to motivate Itsuki and Nino, though Itsuki studies independently. Maruo informs Futaro that he will be fired if any sister fails, leading to a heated argument with Itsuki that he quickly regrets. At the Nakano residence, the group plays The Game of Life, where Ichika helps Futaro avoid being ejected by Nino. Nino later discovers the firing threat and rejoices. During study time, Miku asks about Futaro’s ideal partner, prompting him to reveal a top-three countdown to motivate the girls. He discloses that his preferences describe his sister Raiha, reiterating his lack of romantic interest. Ichika observes Futaro and Itsuki’s similarities during a balcony conversation. Miku allows Futaro to sleep in her bed, but she returns to her own room after using the bathroom, leaving Futaro to wake up beside her the next morning.
