Ep. 10: The Utsugi family adopts Lenka in Agir before Lindow Amamiya arrives with a controversial Fenrir recruitment test.
Aired on March 5, 2016

Fifteen years ago, the Utsugi family discovered an abandoned infant in Agir, a refugee commune, and decided to raise him as their own. They named the boy Lenka, and he grew up with love from his adoptive parents and older sister, Iroha. One day, Lindow Amamiya, a God Eater, visited their home and urged everyone to undergo a patch test. This test determines if an individual possesses God Eater attributes, granting entry into Fenrir for the positive candidate and their blood relatives. Lenka’s father strongly opposed this discriminatory selection process, which prioritized genetic traits over individual merit, creating immediate tension within the household regarding the future of their adopted son and the values of their community.
