Gokyoudai Monogatari

A television anime adaptation of Tetsu Adachi's manga will debut on October 10 via Japan's TV Asahi network. Originally serialized since 1999 in Kodansha's Young Magazine, the manga features a sister and her twin brother living in Tokyo's lower-class areas, experiencing kind and touching moments with those around them. The work was recognized with an excellence award at the 7th Cultural Media Arts Festival in 2003. The sister, Onei Jinushi, is voiced by Yuki Matsuoka, while her twin brother, Junichirō Jinushi, is performed by Yumiko Kobayashi. Sayaka Ohara voices Shizuka, a waitress at a local restaurant.
