Banri waits for Kōko after her rejection, eventually meeting her father who drives him home. During the ride, Banri suspects Kōko knows about his anti-anxiety medication and questions his father about the diagnosis. He later confides in Nana, who encourages him to face Kōko again. The following day, Banri meets Kōko, who acts normally until she casually announces their breakup to their friends, shocking everyone. After Kōko lashes out, Chinami suggests she may have seen a video of Banri’s anxiety attack. Banri remains optimistic and informs Linda and the Festival club president of the split, leading to an argument with Linda. He then apologizes to Mitsuo for hiding his past relationship with Linda. Kōko arrives to submit her club resignation, but Banri stops her, causing her to leave as he calls out to her.
