Kujou meets a girl with a cold who dreams of her stubborn friend. With assistance from the girl and a bright homeless boy, he persuades the police to reopen the investigation. Kujou and Grevil then consult Victorique regarding the department store. She reveals she has already conducted research on the matter and proposes a plan to expose the culprits involved in the case.
