Gran and his companions leave Zinkenstill aiming for the Island of Astrals. Their small airship crashes on the nearby Eingana Island. Rackam witnesses the wreckage. Locals view him as strange because he constantly repairs an airship that cannot fly. This event marks the beginning of their journey on the island. The group must deal with the aftermath of the crash while interacting with the residents who have their own opinions about Rackam's persistent efforts to restore the non-functional vessel.
