Koji and his companions recruit Hikaru to assist in the destruction of the Super Vega Cannon, after which they depart for space. In response, the Vega Star sends its most powerful Vega beast to counter their efforts. Meanwhile, Duke encounters Rubina and Teronna again. The trio gathers on the moon to openly express their emotions and share their feelings with one another during this reunion.
